Get more out of your massage.​

Practicing conscious awareness of the breath is effective in the recovery, intervention, & treatment of a myriad of health related issues. Clients who supplement their bodywork sessions with conscious breathing allow themselves to experience a more comprehensive outcome than with massage alone.

Deep, active breathing guided by your practitioner will open the tissues to deeper, more specific work. This technique creates the sensation of what is referred to as "grateful pain" followed by a deep release of the muscle being targeted. Treatments should never hurt. Full release over time will likely require consistent sessions combined with home care.

I do NOT believe in the no pain no gain philosophy when it comes to bodywork.
